This program will provide an overview of recent intellectual property reform and its impact on government contracting. Participants can test their knowledge of data rights assertions in a variety of practice situations and foster a discussion about potential challenges imposed by the America Invents Act. Ms. Crawley will review key relevant authorities, discuss issues that surface in the context of hypothetical practice situations, and address contested aspects and implications of the statutory and contractual allocation of data rights.

Deitra Crawley, Practitioner of Defense Contracts Law, Intellectual Property, and International Trade, Law Office of Gary L. Rigne
