Presenter: John Qua, CPCM, National Industries for the Blind
Recorded at World Congress 2012
National Industries for the Blind (NIB), like many business entities, serves as both a prime contractor and a subcontractor for government and commercial requirements. However, business opportunities for people who are blind seem to be an "aftertought" of many requiring entities for a variety of reasons. This session explores government and commercial subcontracting requirements and results, and seeks to educate listeners on the extraordinary capabilities of people who are blind in the marketplace by identifying some heretofore unrecognized business advantages resulting from the use of NIB.
