DESCRIPTION
The presenter will address the key elements of determining price reasonableness with emphasis placed on price analysis techniques and their appropriateness under a variety of contracting/procurement scenarios. Price analysis techniques will be contrasted against cost analysis and cost realism techniques and acquisition circumstances will be clarified under which these three broad classes of analytical techniques must be used as a means of determining price reasonableness. Brief but challenging case studies will be presented to illustrate the practical application of price analysis techniques, either alone or in concert with cost analysis and cost realism techniques.
